    I教材分析

    本节课所讲内容是新标准英语一年级起点五年级下册第六模块第一单元。本单元所涉及的主要语法是一般将来时态,既是对第五模块语法的进一步巩固,又为后期第七、八模块语法学习奠定基础,所以本单元教学内容承上启下,地位举足轻重。

    本单元的语言功能是谈论旅行计划。教学重点是:全体学生能够理解并熟读生词与短语------builda very old place, thousand, in a circle, answer, hope;理解并熟读课文。教学难点是:学生能够灵活运用本单元的句型制定并介绍自己的旅行计划,进一步复习、巩固一般将来时态。本单元教学内容应分为两个课时完成:新授课和复习课,本节课是第一课时新授课。

     II学情分析

    本单元的教学对象是五年级学生,年龄在十一到十二岁左右,虽然处于高年级学段,但仍然活泼好动,喜欢直观形象思维和抽象思维相结合,对游戏、竞赛很有兴趣。他们从一年级开始学习英语,已经四年多了,有了一定的英语基础,但是彼此之间的英语知识水平渐渐出现差异。五年级学段的学生中大部分对英语有着较浓厚的学习兴趣,但也有少数学生由于遇到困难,学习热情会随之减弱。五年级学生还存在着学习方法和学习策略经验不足等问题,但他们却有着极强的求知欲和表现欲。

    这个年龄段的学生在学习方法和学习策略上还需要进一步训练,特别是对所学知识的灵活运用,由单句到篇章的陈述等难度较大的项目都需要在长期的学习中不断强化。

    III教学目标

    1.   Students can read the key words and phrases correctly.

    2.   Students can read the text correctly and fluently.

    3.   Students can retell the text in reported speech.

    4.   Students can make a trip plan in groups.

     V教学过程:

    Preparation

    1.Free talks about weekend plans between the teacher and students.

    2.Eliciting students to share their weekend plans so that leads into Daming’s, Amy and Lingling’s weekend plans.

    (旅行是学生非常熟悉的话题,上课伊始老师通过引导、鼓励学生谈论并分享自己的周末旅行计划自然过渡到我们的好朋友,大明、艾米和玲玲的周末旅行计划,在自然的交际中完成新课的导入。)

    2.Answer the question together before show the picture of the Great Wall on the screen.

    3. Chant with Daming together twice.

    4. Learn the word, build. (show some pictures)

    (学习新单词时,利用课件直观呈现图片,同时让学生跟老师运用新词描述图片,不仅帮助学生轻松理解词义,而且将单词置于具体的语境中学习,为学生灵活运用新知奠定了基础。)

    1.     Listen to the whole text once with a question: What are Amy and Lingling going to see on Saturday?

    2.     Answer the question and learn the new word, Stonehenge (show a picture of Stonehenge).

    3.     Enjoy a video and learn about Stonehenge. (play the video)

    (通过观看视频,让学生初步感知什么是巨石阵,巨石阵的地理位置,历史渊源。)

    4.     Watch the video again with the questions:

    5.Individual students answer the questions one by one.

         6.Teach the new words and key phrases presented in the answers.

    (问题设计巧妙之处在于,不仅有效检查学生是否已完全理解对话,而且将本单元的所有重点单词与短语都贯穿其中。师生在解决问题的同时,通过PPT直观呈现逼真的图片,并随时让学生运用生词说完整的句子从不同角度描述图片,将单词置于具体的语境中学习,帮助学生接触、体验和理解真实语言,学生在视觉、听觉等多重刺激下感知理解语言,避免了传统的机械记忆单词的方法,从而完成单词学习到灵活运用的超越。)

    7.Show all the key words and phrases on the screen and get them to read together.

    8. Do pair work. Read the key words and phrases to their own partners.

    (通过对子互读,彼此发现发音错误,随时订正,互教互学,激励学生自主学习)

    9.Check some individual students by showing the pictures on the screen.  (assessment)

    (通过对基础较弱个体学生的检查,确定学生是否已达到目标1的要求, 确保下一活动的顺利完成。)

    1.     Listen and repeat twice. (pay more attention to the pronunciation and intonation.)

    2.     Read the text together.

    3.     Read in roles. Boys act as Lingling and girls act as Amy. Then exchange.

    4.     Practice reading in roles.

    5.     Role-reading show. (about 4 pairs)  (assessment)

    (分角色朗读展示不仅给学生搭建了实践语言的平台,而且在展示的过程中培养自信以及合作意识,本活动确定学生是否完成目标2,并且为下一步转述课文做铺垫。)

    Practice

    Retell the text in reported speech.

    1. Talk about in groups.

    2. Have a group show in their favourite style.  (assessment)

    (本活动是针对目标3设置的,由原文对话形式转换为陈述文,有效检查学生对文本的理解以及重点句型的运用, 同时帮助学生学会用英语做事情,并为制定自己的旅行计划提供语言积累。)

    Making group plans about trips for the weekend

    1.     The teacher shows some pictures of famous places around the world and instructs them how to make a trip plan.

    2.     Choose their favourite places and make trip plans in groups.

         3.Have a group show.

    (本活动是这节课的点睛之笔,也是本节课的难点。此任务的设置搭建了学生实践语言的平台,锻炼学生思维,通过接触、理解、操练以及运用语言,逐步实现语言知识的内化,帮助他们逐渐学会用英语做事情,用英语获取、处理和传递信息,从而提升实际语言运用能力。)
